IT SNOWED!!!!!!
(No, I didn't take that picture. I wish I had though. Wouldn't that be a lovely place to stay?!)
In honor of such an occasion, mom and I decided to trek to the store and drag home some pizza, ice cream, and hot cocoa (because what else do you eat on a snow day?).
While we were gone, I decided a few things:
- Snow shoveling brings neighbors together better than anything. I tell you what, there were more people outside at 6 p.m. in 20 degree weather than you see at the pool in the summer.
- At first I was feeling insecure about my non-showered un-makeup-ed self making a grand entrance in the grocery, but then I realized that hey, with my brother's incredibly huge coat, a fuzzy hat, and baggy pants tucked into my ankle snow boots, there is no man in his right mind who would give this girl a second glance. Skinny jeans? Psshhh! Never again.
- If you ever decide to take a late-night run (literally) to the store in the middle of a snow storm, do use the facilities before setting out. Just in...case...
Today consisted of visiting 24 Hour Fitness (I need to get in shape!), drinking more hot cocoa, watching this video, and drinking ridiculous amounts of a green smoothie that was really purple.
Hope your weekend was a little more eventful than mine!
